A Drop of Blood

A drop form the pinkie, 

A drop form the thumb,

one from the ring, 

then one from the index,

finally one from the middle,

 most sensitive of all.

Finished with one hand tomorrow starts the other.

The numbers are stabilizing, things are getting better but it still

hurts until I just want to sit and cry. 

Diabetes

Well it is finally official I am a diabetic I went to the er last night my blood sugar was 273 they didn't admit me but I got treated and got the official diagnosis. ER might not be the right way to go but it beats the 3 week wait for an appointment  and then another two to three week wait to have the test run. At least this way I can get them to get me in earlier to than three weeks and I won't have to wait to take the test and get the results back. so now I am off to do the research on meters, test strips, the price of metformin ect.

DIABETES

Hyper, hypo, up, and down we go,

Sleepy, energized, hot, cold, never sure which way it goes.

To high you die, to low you go out your door feet first in a body bag.

Needles, vials, needle tips,pens in orange and grey.

Click, pop, pain, ouch,.

Relief, it's good for now, but what about later.

And the cycle begins again.

Ok I don't usually do this I usually can interpret my own dreams but this one has me stumped  
                 I was a dragon (not sure what color and I don't think it really matters). A man came in so quietly I didn't hear him and he had two young people with him. I sniffed and knew they were vampires. He asked me to watch over the young people so I spoke with them. The male was mentally challenged ( physically 20 mentally 13), the girl had been in a wheel chair but could walk now, however she was very naive and innocent about the world and how it works, I agreed to take care of them. and then someone woke me up the dream didn't end properly it was left hanging.

So we had snow on new years eve it snowed and this came to me

SNOWING

Wild white rushing wind 

a blank stark grey canvas with dark grey branches 

and trees peeking through a streak of red cardinal

then on new years day I went outside and and this came to me 

FRESH SNOW

Sparking glinting glimmering 

fresh new fallen snow lays a powder like blanket over everything 

I feel like that one is not finished maybe more will come to me maybe not

Today I went out and got this, again it does not feel finished 

BREATHING 

Crisp clean air freezing my words and breath with every exhale 

biting my lungs with every in drawn breath making me breath in quick short bites.
